Members of Englewood Christian Church (ECC) adhere to many values based upon God's word. Our values are reflected in our lives and our ministries. ECC values are:

We value loving God and all people. (Deuteronomy 5:7-10; Matthew 5:43-47, 22:37-38; 1 Corinthians 12)

We treasure God's forgiveness and practice forgiveness of each other. (Matthew 5:23-26, 6:12-15, 18:15-22)

We value respecting each other. (Deuteronomy 5:16; Romans 13:7)

We value a life of integrity. (Deuteronomy 5:18-20; Proverbs 19:22; Acts 24:16)

We value storing treasures in heaven over treasures on earth. (Deuteronomy 5:21; Matthew 6:19-21; Mark 10:17-23)

We value equality in Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:12-30; Ephesians 4:11-16; James 2:1-20)

We value all people. (Deuteronomy 5:17; Isaiah 43:1-7; Luke 15:11-32; Ephesians 2:4-5; Titus 3:4-7)

We value obedience to God's word. (Ephesians 6:7-8; 2 Timothy 4:8; James 1:12, 25; 1 Peter 5:1-4; Revelation 2:10)

We value excellence and perseverance in all we do for the Lord. (Colossians 3:23; 2 Timothy 2:15; Daniel 12:12; 1 Corinthians 9:24-27, 15:58; Galatians 6:7-10; Ephesians 6:18)

We value Bible-centered Christian education, counseling, and preaching. (Ephesians 6:4; 2 Timothy 3:14-17, 4:1-5; Titus 2; James 3:1-2)
